Basement Renovation
This basement was transformed from a raw, unfinished space into a comfortable and stylish living area. Here are some of the remodeling changes we did:
- Framing and Drywall: The walls are newly framed and finished with drywall, creating defined spaces and a polished look. This involved measuring, cutting, and installing the framing, followed by hanging, taping, and mudding the drywall for a smooth surface.
- Electrical Work: The recessed lighting required new electrical wiring and fixtures to be installed. We ran new circuits, installed junction boxes, and connected the lighting fixtures.
- Flooring Installation: We installed vinyl plank flooring, chosen for its durability and wood-look aesthetic. This process involved careful measuring, cutting, and laying the planks, ensuring a level and even surface.
- Window Installation: We put a new window installation for added ventilation in the basement. This involved framing the opening, installing the window, and ensuring proper sealing and insulation.
Kitchen Remodeling
This kitchen has undergone a modern transformation, with several key upgrades that enhanced both its aesthetics and functionality. Here are the changes we made:
- Cabinetry: The sleek, handleless cabinets in a light wood tone create a contemporary and minimalist feel. They likely replaced older, possibly more traditional cabinets, providing a fresh and updated look.
- Countertops: The waterfall countertop on the island, made of quartz, adds a touch of luxury and sophistication. It’s a striking design element that was added to this kitchen.
- Appliances: The modern appliances, including the sleek range hood and integrated cooktop, contribute to the contemporary aesthetic. These likely replaced older, less energy-efficient models.

Living Room Addition
This living room was a home addition. Adding this room provided more living space to the homeowner’s family. We did all these things:
- Room Addition: We installed a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and added many windows to give this room an air of openness. Building an added room involved significant structural work, including framing, roofing, and foundation work.
- Fireplace Installation: The stone fireplace with a wooden mantel creates a focal point and adds warmth to the room. This involved building a chimney or connecting to an existing one, installing a firebox and surround, and adding the decorative mantel.
- Wall Finishing: The walls are finished in a soothing blue paint color, creating a calming and inviting atmosphere. This involved preparing the walls, priming, and applying multiple coats of paint.
- Flooring Installation: The dark wood-look flooring complements the overall design and adds warmth to the space. This involved leveling the subfloor and carefully installing the flooring material.
Deck Building
This is a newly constructed deck, adding valuable outdoor living space to the home. Here’s a breakdown of the renovation work involved:
- Design and Planning: The first step was designing the deck, considering factors like size, shape, materials, and integration with the existing house. We created blueprints and obtained the necessary permits.
- Foundation and Framing: Since the house lacked a prior deck, we built a foundation. This involved pouring concrete footings to support the deck structure. Then, the framing was constructed using pressure-treated lumber, creating the deck’s framework and ensuring proper support.
- Decking Installation: The decking boards, made out of composite material, was installed on top of the framing. This involved precise measuring, cutting, and fastening of the boards, ensuring a level and stable surface.
- Railing Installation: The black metal railings provide safety and a modern aesthetic. This involved installing posts, securing the railing panels, and ensuring they meet building code requirements for height and stability.
- Stairs and Landing: The stairs leading down from the deck to the yard was built from scratch, including framing, treads, and risers.
